Is it possible to finance the purchase of a property?

Yes it is possible. RETAMA cooperates with banks to promote mortgage loans for the purchase of property. With current financing programs you can be granted a loan of up to 80% of the appraisal price/first offer. The decision on financing, the terms, the amount and the percentage of the value of the property are determined exclusively by the credit institution that grants the loan. The process includes the following steps:

  • Locating the property you are interested in
  • Submission of a request of interest for financing and the necessary supporting documents
Supporting Documents

1. Identity information

  • If you are a Greek citizen, Identity Card or Passport
  • If you are an EU citizen, Passport
  • If you are a citizen of third countries (outside the EU), valid passport and residence permit or certificate of application for the grant of a residence permit with complete supporting documents or Foreigner or Expatriate Identity Card

2.Financial data

Deed of Administrative Tax Determination (clearance) for the last 3 financial years, and in addition

  • If you are employed, recent proof of monthly earnings (last 3 months)
  • If you are retired, recent proof of pension payments (last 3 months)
  • If you are self-employed, periodical VAT returns for the last 3 months and computerized business and professional financial data sheet (E3) for the last financial year

3.Real estate

ENFIA (Uniform Tax on Property) of the last year (in case of no real estate, a printout of the current “Property Statement”, in which it is written “No property profile has been formed for the year …)

4.Request evaluation – Funding Proposal

5.Acceptance of funding proposal

6.Register on the e-auction platform as a member
